The Christmas Market was easily the highlight of my first trip into Germany. There, I was able to sample foods like kartaffepuffer, apfelwein, bratwurst (I had at least 4 of 'em), Feuenzangen Bowle (how one pronounces it, I have no idea), and finally a Christmas black beer appropriately called Carolus, because if you drink too many of them, you soundly have the desire to go caroling.
